Megan Moroney launches ‘Cloud 9 Tour’ with sold-out show and hit-packed setlist

Megan Moroney has officially kicked off the North American leg of her Cloud 9 Tour in emphatic style, opening with a sold-out show at the Schottenstein Center and signalling the start of what looks set to be one of the biggest country tours of the year.

Fresh off her record-breaking Am I Okay? Tour, Moroney is stepping into full arena mode, and judging by opening night, she’s more than ready. The show blended new material from her ‘Cloud 9' album with the fan favourites that have powered her rapid rise, delivering a set that balanced heartbreak, attitude and that unmistakable Georgia charm.

The setlist showcases just how deep Moroney’s catalogue has become in a short space of time, moving seamlessly between introspective ballads and sharp, witty breakup anthems. Highlights included a stripped-back acoustic moment featuring ‘Wedding Dress,' giving the arena a rare, intimate pause, while ‘Tennessee Orange' and ‘Am I Okay?' drew some of the night’s biggest singalongs.

The Cloud 9 Tour spans an ambitious 49 dates across North America, hitting major venues including Barclays Center, Crypto.com Arena, United Center and Bridgestone Arena—a clear indication of just how quickly Moroney has scaled up from rising star to arena headliner.

The tour doesn’t stop there either. Later this year, Moroney will take the show overseas, with dates across Europe and the UK including a debut Paris performance at Le Trianon and major stops in London, Oslo, Stockholm and Belfast.

Adding to the momentum, Moroney recently released ‘Traitor (Roles Reversed),' a fan-favourite bonus track from ‘Cloud 9' that’s already becoming a staple of her live show. Written with David Mescon, Emily Weisband and Hillary Lindsey, the track reinforces her knack for turning personal moments into universally relatable anthems.

If opening night is anything to go by, the Cloud 9 Tour isn’t just a victory lap: it’s a statement. Megan Moroney has arrived at arena level, and she’s bringing every song, every story and every fan along for the ride.
