Walter Presents is bringing season 3 of ‘Arctic Circle' to Channel 4 and C4 Streaming in March.
The show is created by Liro Küttner, Maximilian Brückner and Clemens Schick. It stars Lina Kuustonen.
Nina Kautsalo returns to Ivalo as the town’s new police chief, stepping in after her boss’s retirement. Her homecoming is anything but quiet when a local pharmacist is found murdered in what looks like a robbery gone wrong. Teaming up with her former partner, Aikio, Nina begins to dig deeper – only to uncover a far bigger mystery.
At the same time, a violent carjacking shakes the high-security testing facility of Pharada, an American automotive giant developing cutting-edge self-driving technology. With a major public launch on the line, the company is desperate to recover their stolen prototype before the scandal tanks their stock and derails their expansion plans – plans that could bring jobs to Ivalo but have sparked fierce environmental protests over the impact on reindeer herding. As tensions mount and a crucial town-council vote approaches, Nina suspects a connection between the theft and the pharmacist’s murder.
Caught between corporate pressure, local unrest, and a personal crisis – Nina’s relationship with Toni is on the rocks over his desire for children – she must race to solve the case before Ivalo’s future is decided.
In a town on the brink, can Nina uncover the truth before it’s too late?
Walter Presents: ‘Arctic Circle' season 3 launches midnight on 2nd March 2025 on Channel 4. The boxset will be available on C4 Streaming from Friday 28th February 2025.
