Hayes Carll to release new album “We’re Only Human” in August

Hayes Carll has released new single “We're Only Human”, the title track from his forthcoming album.

“We're Only Human”, the album, will be released on 8th August 2025 via Hwy 87 Records/Thirty Tigers. The title track is a reminder that as human beings we are not perfect and, for the most part, that’s alright. Sometimes we need to give ourselves a little break. The lyrics address the strengths, vulnerabilities, fears, emotions, doubts, struggles, confusion and desires that we all live with in some capacity. In the end, so much of it is what unites us.

On “We’re Only Human”, Carll turns the mirror back on himself for the most deeply introspective and reflective work of his career. It is a thoughtful and deeply personal album, but it is a work with Carll’s signature all over it as it overflows with his extraordinary balance of thoughtful lyrics, grit, tenderness and sardonic wit.
