Footballer and Pundit Anton Ferdinand is the seventh celebrity confirmed to be taking part in the new series of ‘Dancing on Ice'.
Over his career Ferdinand played for a number of teams including West Ham United, Sunderland and Queen's Park Rangers. He is now a pundit on talkSPORT.
Talking exclusively to talkSPORT Radio, Anton said: “I decided to sign up for the show because it's a challenge first and foremost. I'm in a new phase of my life since retiring from football and the one of the things I've missed about playing is the structure it gives you. ‘Dancing On Ice' will give me that focus but I'm also doing it for my daughter because she loves dance and performing arts. My son always had my football to shout about so this will give my daughter and me something to share.”
Ferdinand joins a line-up that includes comedian Josh Jones, ‘EastEnders' legend Charlie Brooks, ‘Coronation Street' star Sam Aston, Olympian Sir Steve Redgrave, ‘The Traitors' star Mollie Pearce and TV personality Ferne McCann. More celebrities will be confirmed in the coming days.
We'll bring you more details about ‘Dancing on Ice' 2025 as soon as we have them!
