‘Gladiators' will return to our screens THIS month for its third series and the launch date has been confirmed.
The family favourite, which is one of the biggest shows on TV, will return on Saturday 17th January 2026 at 5.45pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Viewers can expect a new crop of contenders to do battle with the mighty Gladiators over a series of events, before competing against one another in the Eliminator.
The Gladiators returning are Apollo, Athena, Bionic, Comet, Cyclone, Diamond, Dynamite, Electro, Fire, Fury, Giant, Hammer, Legend, Nitro, Phantom, Sabre, Steel, and Viper. Bradley and Barney Walsh return as the hosts, as they try to keep things running smoothly.
The third series was filmed in Sheffield at the Utilita Arena and there are bound to be surprises, nail-biting battles and much more to look forward to.
Series 2 of ‘Gladiators' aired in early 2025 and it saw gymnast Joe Fishburn and gym owner Amanda Wah beat the rest of the contenders to be crowned champions. At the end of 2025, Gladiators embarked on its first-ever UK live tour with contenders from series 1 and 2 competing against the Gladiators across the UK.
