Cameron Whitcomb is continuing his rapid rise with the release of his new single ‘You and Me,' out now via Atlantic Records. The track reunites the Nanaimo, British Columbia-born singer-songwriter with producer Jack Riley and songwriting collaborators Cal Shapiro and Nolan Sipe, the same creative team behind some of Whitcomb’s recent releases. The song has already begun building momentum after becoming a standout moment in his live set while touring across North America as a special guest on HARDY’s Country! Country! Tour.
The release arrives during what is shaping up to be a landmark year for the young artist. Later this month Whitcomb will take the stage at the 55th Annual Juno Awards in Hamilton, Ontario, where he has received five nominations. The recognition places him alongside some of Canada’s biggest names, including Justin Bieber, Tate McRae and The Weeknd. His nominations include Fan Choice, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year and Country Album of the Year. The nods follow two recent victories at the Canadian Country Music Awards, further cementing his reputation as one of the country’s fastest-rising stars.
Whitcomb’s momentum on stage shows no sign of slowing either. Later this month he will launch his own Fragile Egos Tour, a run of headline US dates produced by Live Nation that begins on March 17 in Madison, Wisconsin. Several shows on the tour have already sold out, including appearances at Citizens House of Blues in Boston, Irving Plaza in New York City and The Jefferson Theatre in Charlottesville, Virginia, with limited tickets remaining for many of the other dates.
Alongside his headline run, Whitcomb will continue touring with HARDY throughout the spring and summer across both the United States and Canada. His growing international profile will also take him to Australia and New Zealand in May for a headline tour that has already seen most dates sell out, prompting the addition of extra shows in some cities due to overwhelming demand.
Festival audiences will also get a chance to see Whitcomb throughout the year as he appears at a number of major events. Among the scheduled stops are Two Step Inn in Texas, Stagecoach in California, Meadows Music Festival in Ontario, Tailgate N’ Tallboys in Illinois, Dauphin’s Countryfest in Manitoba and Country Thunder Saskatchewan, along with several others across North America.
Earlier this year Whitcomb kicked off 2026 with the release of ‘All Your’n,' an Amazon Music Original cover of the Tyler Childers favourite, which is available exclusively on the streaming platform. With a new single gaining traction, a major awards appearance on the horizon and an extensive tour schedule ahead, Whitcomb’s upward trajectory shows no signs of slowing.
