Ian Munsick honours his wife with new song ‘Caroline’

Rising country artist Ian Munsick continues to captivate fans with his heartfelt songwriting, this time with the release of a deeply personal track titled ‘Caroline,' named after his wife. The Wyoming native, who has always drawn inspiration from his family, previously shared with Music Row how his wife Caroline and son Crawford have influenced his music. Now, with ‘Caroline,' Munsick offers his most direct tribute yet to the love of his life.

“Talk about pressure… naming a song after your wife is as high stakes as it gets as a songwriter. Releasing that song is about as high stakes as it gets as a husband,” Munsick shared with a laugh. “Luckily, it’s one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written and even more importantly, it’s one of my wife’s. Every line is the truth and is seven years in the making. I took my time on it because God took His time on Caroline.” Written alongside Jeremy Spillman and Phil O’Donnell, ‘Caroline' is now available on all streaming platforms.

In addition to “Caroline,” Munsick surprised fans with the release of ‘Good Dogs & Sad Songs,' a track that reflects on the simple, yet profound joys in life. Reflecting on the writing process with co-writers Jeremy Spillman and Rivers Rutherford, Munsick shared, “No matter how much we complicate our lives, the things that God made will always bring clarity and a sense of peace. Just like good dogs and sad songs.”

This fall, Munsick will bring his soulful country sound back to the Rocky Mountain region with his Country & WESTern Tour presented by Boot Barn, featuring nine shows across the west. Currently, he is headlining his Boots, Buckles & Bolos Tour and will join Lainey Wilson for select dates on her Country’s Cool Again Tour this summer.
