10 game releases to watch out for in September 2019

There were some brilliant game releases to choose from in August. My top picks for the month were Control, The Dark Pictures – Man of Medan and World of Warcraft: Classic.

I hope you’ve been saving up over the summer because September is jam-packed with big new games to add to your collection. As usual there’s something for everyone with new releases across each of the platforms.

Of all of the September releases, I’m most looking forward to Catherine: Full Body, Gears 5 and Borderlands 3. I also had my eye on the Destiny 2: Shadow Keep and free-to-play New Light but they’ve been delayed until 1st October.

Here’s a full list of my 10 games to watch out for in September 2019:

Please note that the dates mentioned are the currently expected UK release dates and subject to change, dates for other regions may vary.

Catherine: Full Body (PS4)

The western release of the remaster of 2011’s Catherine finally arrives this month. This time around the twisted love triangle between Vincent, Katherine and Catherine is further complicated by the addition of the mysterious amnesiac, Rin. The original was fantastic and the remaster is looking even better. If you missed it first time around definitely check it out. There’s a demo available should you want to try before you buy.

UPlay+ The Ubisoft Subscription Service (PC)

Ok so this isn’t a single title but the launch of Ubisoft’s new subscription service should be well worth checking out. Sign-up ahead of the 3rd September launch and you’ll get the first month free. After that it’s said to be priced at $14.99 a month, we’re still waiting on UK pricing to be confirmed. The service will give subscribers access to over 100 PC games from Ubisoft’s incredible catalog and will also add future releases as they launch.
