Actor and musician Sam Palladio is stepping into a defining new chapter, officially signing with 3686 Records — the recently launched, artist-first label founded by Levi Hummon and Eric Arjes.
The partnership marks a major milestone not only for Palladio, but also for 3686 Records, as the label continues to establish itself as a fresh, forward-thinking home for artists. Distributed through The Orchard in partnership with Sony Music, the label was built around a clear mission: to prioritize creative ownership, transparency, and long-term artist development.
For Palladio, the move signals a creative evolution. Best known to many for his role as Gunnar Scott on Nashville, he has spent years building a musical identity rooted in Americana and folk traditions. Now, with new music on the horizon, he is leaning into a more expansive, pop-driven sound — one that reflects both personal growth and a renewed sense of artistic direction.
His signing — first revealed by Billboard — sets the stage for his first releases under the new partnership, with material that promises to push beyond the boundaries of his debut album and into new sonic territory.
“Sam's artistry and integrity has always been evident from the earliest conversations,” said Arjes. “When we started this label, our vision was to create a home that could support an artist of his caliber. His new music jumps out of the speakers and pulls you right into his life.”
Hummon echoed that excitement, adding, “We’re so excited to welcome Sam to the 3686 Records family. His new music blew us away, and we can't wait to help bring it into the world. This next chapter really showcases his growth as both a writer and an artist.”
For Palladio, finding the right creative home was essential.
“I’m thrilled to be partnering with 3686 Records,” he said. “I’ve watched the label grow from its early inception into a collective of passionate creatives championing great artists and songwriting. My music has always lived a little left of centre, and it was important for me to find a home in Nashville that embraces breaking new ground and supporting unique, contemporary artists.”
Having called Nashville home for over a decade, Palladio’s journey as a musician has been deeply personal. His debut album, the perfect summer’s day before we lost the light, served as a tribute to his late mother and explored themes of loss, resilience, and healing.
“This new chapter of music still carries my British roots,” he shared, “but it leans more into the indie-pop world. It’s about finding stability again, reconnecting with myself, and navigating the joys and challenges of the heart when starting over.”
As 3686 Records continues to build its roster, Palladio’s signing represents exactly the kind of artist the label was created to support — one with a distinct voice, a willingness to evolve, and a story that resonates far beyond genre lines.
With new music on the way, both artist and label are poised for a breakout moment — one rooted in creative freedom and a shared vision for what comes next.
