Rising country artist Wyatt Flores has just released his latest single ‘Oh Susannah' now available for streaming alongside a poignant music video. This track offers a second glimpse into Flores' highly anticipated debut album ‘Welcome To The Plains' set to drop on October 18 via Island Records. Fans can pre-save the album here.
In discussing the song, Flores opened up about its deeply personal meaning: “The story behind this song is just me having to take a mental break back in February and coming back to it all realising that I need to take care of myself before I can even think about taking care of others, and that’s all I ever wanted to do. So I did have to take a step back and this song is an apology from me to my fans.”
Ahead of the full album release, Flores also shared its lead single, Don’t Wanna Say Goodnight' which has been praised by Rolling Stone as “a powerful, energetic love song,” while Billboard lauded it for showcasing Flores as “a sturdy songwriter and vocalist in equal measure,” with its raw full-band sound of thrashing percussion and churning guitars.

The 14-track album features songwriting collaborations with Ketch Secor from Old Crow Medicine Show and Aaron Raitiere, offering Flores’ signature blend of traditional country and folk storytelling.
“It’s an album about home and a search for happiness,” Flores says of the project. “It’s an album about Stillwater, Oklahoma, and all the other little towns that have raised people like you and me. It’s an album about my family, and the people and places in my life who have defined who I am today. This album is happy on one side and heartbreak on the other, and whoever you are, I hope you find something you love in here.”
