Angie K releases heartfelt new song ‘Golden’ after Opry debut

Breakout country artist Angie K has released her latest single, ‘Golden,' a song that left an indelible mark on audiences when she performed it during her Grand Ole Opry debut. The heartfelt ballad, which earned her a standing ovation, is a poignant reflection on cherishing every moment. “Golden is a song about the present,” Angie K shares. “It’s about slowing down and remembering that the greatest gift we can give each other is our time.”

Written by Angie K, Mary Kutter, Brian Alexander, and Noah Lubert, ‘Golden' captures her deeply reflective songwriting style and will be featured on her forthcoming self-titled EP, ‘Angie K,' produced by award-winning producer Stephony Smith. This release follows Angie K’s recent collaboration with fellow Nashville artist Jimencio on the Tejano-country fusion track ‘Yo Quiero Todo,' highlighting her versatility as one of country music’s rising Latin voices.

Angie K’s path in country has been marked by songs like ‘Stay,' Death of Me' and ‘Red Dirt on Mars' with Billboard noting her “disarming vulnerability” as she continues to captivate audiences.

Named a 2023 CMT Next Women of Country and recently a 2024 CMT Listen Up artist, Angie K’s career is on a remarkable ascent. Born in El Salvador and raised in Georgia, Angie fulfilled a lifelong dream by stepping into the Grand Ole Opry circle, a milestone her mother had once saved to bring her to see as a child.
