Robyn to release the ‘Complete Body Talk’ on vinyl in July

Robyn will release the ‘Complete Body Talk' in a 2LP set on 17th July 2026, it has been announced.

The release is the definitive vinyl compilation of Robyn’s groundbreaking ‘Body Talk' trilogy. Personally curated by Robyn, this 2LP set unifies ‘Body Talk' Parts 1, 2, and 3 into one continuous collection for the first time. Featuring fan-favourite tracks including ‘Dancing On My Own', ‘Call Your Girlfriend', ‘Hang With Me' and more, it will be pressed on coke bottle vinyl and housed in a premium sleeve highlighted by a silver metallic cover.

Robyn is one of the most respected artists in pop. Her 1995 debut album ‘Robyn Is Here', was originally only planned for release in her native Sweden and a handful of other territories. In the subsequent two years, it would organically grow to become a global hit both critically and commercially and would see Robyn lauded as a once-in-a-generation talent as a songwriter and performer.

Her two subsequent albums, 1999’s ‘My Truth' and “Don’t Stop The Music” in 2002 were released in Sweden only and her self titled fourth album was her next to be released internationally – crucially on own record label Konichiwa Records. Now working with full creative control over her music, this album would see her music tilt more in an electronic direction. Upon release she was once again lauded globally as a creative powerhouse charting her own path as an independent artist. This would allow her to release the ‘Body Talk' trilogy breaking down the norms of how artists release their music!

In spring 2010 Robyn announced she would be releasing the trilogy having amassed a substantial number of tracks. Breaking away from the traditions of releasing an album or even double album selected from her unreleased body of work, she devised the plan of releasing all of the music through the year, with the first releases simply being the tracks finished first – a strategy more commonly used in the present day. What came was two mini albums – ‘Body Talk, Pt1' released in June and ‘Body Talk Pt. 2' in September 2010. Finishing the trio was ‘Body Talk' in the November – a full length album which contained five unreleased songs and a selection of others from the previous mini-albums.

This unique trilogy of releases were a critical and commercial success. Robyn was celebrated for breaking from the norms of how music is traditionally released and all three releases received plaudits all over the world receiving top rating reviews from The Guardian, Financial Times, Rolling Stone, NME, Pitchfork and more.
