Hit Danish series ‘The Sommerdahl Murders' is returning to the UK for Season 4 courtesy of Walter Presents this month.
Season 4 features four new episodes and it stars Peter Mygind, Laura Drasbæk, André Babikian and Maibritt Saerens. The series is created by Lolita Bellstar, Annika Appelin and Rumle Hammerich.
Dan Sommerdahl is overjoyed at the thought of becoming a grandfather, spending every spare moment with Laura and Benjamin, while the captivating coastguard Josefine quietly steals his heart. But when Marianne and Flemming discover that Josefine is keeping a dark secret, their loyalty to their friend is put to the test. As hidden truths and unspoken emotions ripple through the group, old wounds resurface, and trust becomes harder to hold onto.
Amidst the scenic charm of Helsingør, crime and passion intertwine as the team face the early release of Sommerdahl’s rival Otto, fresh crimes, and moments of hard-won joy culminating in a moving finale as Laura’s baby arrives, marking a new beginning for the Sommerdahl family.
