At just 21, South Carolina riser Blake Whiten is stepping into a defining new chapter with the announcement of his debut album ‘Something To Say,' arriving July 3 via Enchntmnt / Warner Records. The 12-track project offers the clearest picture yet of Whiten’s raw, confessional songwriting and alt-rock-leaning country edge, building on the momentum of his ‘Six Mile' EP. Pre-save the album right here.
Produced by Austin Shawn and featuring contributions from an all-star writing roster, including Erik Dylan, Ben Johnson, Wyatt McCubbin, Hunter Phelps, Taylor Phillips and Bailey Zimmerman. The album captures an artist moving quickly from promise to fully realised voice. “The first songs I put out were just me as a kid with a dream,” Whiten says. “There’s a side of me people haven’t really heard yet… I’m really proud of how much of myself is in this album.”
The announcement arrives alongside new single ‘Bet On That,' a smoky, guitar-laced standout that frames heartbreak as a losing hand finally folded, following earlier previews ‘Ghost House' and ‘Break Me.' Offstage, Whiten’s rise has been just as rapid, touring arenas with Bailey Zimmerman, preparing to join Morgan Wallen on his stadium run and recently making his debut at the Grand Ole Opry.
With more than 120 million global streams and growing industry acclaim, ‘Something To Say' positions Whiten not just as an artist to watch, but as one with a clear point of view—and plenty to say.
