Cruz Beckham has released new song ‘Waste Your Pain', which he recorded alongside his band The Breakers.
‘Waste Your Pain' is produced by Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov (Kim Gordon, Joji, Charli XCX). It sees Beckham and The Breakers delve into the idea of freeing yourself to a fresh start. With bright guitar and upbeat drums, self love and acceptance are themes at the heart of the song. Take a listen below:
The music video is packed with fun, spirited energy. Filmed whilst on tour, it sees Beckham and The Breakers take inspiration from 1983’s coming-of-age classic ‘Risky Business', as each member of the group dances, performs to camera, and offers a glimpse into the world of The Breakers on tour.
The release of ‘Waste Your Pain’ follows Beckham’s recent debut headline tour that saw him and his band The Breakers play formative venues across the country including King Tuts, Komedia and many more, before culminating the UK tour with three sold out nights at The Courtyard Theatre in London.
Beckham recently announced he’ll be embarking on his debut US headline tour this summer, alongside being announced for major festivals including Reading & Leeds, Rock N Roll Circus, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and Shaky Knees.
‘Waste Your Pain' follows ‘For Your Love' that was released earlier this year, and ‘Optics' which was released in October last year alongside ‘Lick The Toad'.
