Walter Presents is bringing ‘Sphinx', a chilling new series from the Netherlands, to the Channel 4 and C4 Streaming at the end of March.
The series stars Andrea Vass, Rifka Lodeizen, Marcel Hensema and Sallie Harmsen and is created by Diederik Van Rooijen.
One morning, fourteen-year-old Minke Moorman disappears without a trace while on her way to school. Despite a desperate search by her family, all that is found is her bicycle, thrown from a motorway near the Belgian border. That is until three years later, when Minke reappears out of nowhere, feral, confused, and with a mysterious wing tattoo on her back.
When Minke is allowed to return home to reintegrate, her broken family must try to put the pieces back together; her parents who had almost fully separated decide to pretend that their relationship is stable. Minke’s mother Eva struggles to reconnect with her, meanwhile her father Luca, a police detective, does not trust his colleagues with the case, now reopened, when they failed before. Altered by her traumatic experience, Minke is still manipulated by her abductor from the shadows, still under the influence of The Sphinx.
Walter Presents: ‘Sphinx' season 1 will launch on Channel 4 at midnight on 30th March 2026. The full boxset will be available on C4 Streaming from 27th March 2026.
