Boardmasters announces first set of 2026 headliners and opens presale

Boardmasters is gearing up for another unforgettable year as the iconic surf-and-music festival returns to Newquay in August 2026, promising five days of sea air, adrenaline and boundary-pushing live performances across its twin coastal sites at Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach. Presale tickets go live at 10am on Thursday 27 November, with fans required to sign up at boardmasters.com for exclusive 24-hour access before the window closes at midnight on Wednesday 26 November.

More than just a festival, Boardmasters is shaped by the landscape itself. Born from the surf and raised by music, it is etched into Cornwall’s cliffs rather than fenced into fields, creating an atmosphere where basslines ride the sea breeze and rugged coastal energy fuels everything from sunrise yoga to late-night raves. Attendees can expect pro surf events, skate competitions, cold-water dips, wellness sessions and Cornish food that tastes like summer, all set against the Atlantic’s wild backdrop.

Leading the 2026 music bill are two towering UK acts. Kasabian will bring their explosive live presence to the cliffside stages, armed with seven consecutive UK number one albums, more than 10 million album sales and a new record on the way. Fatboy Slim joins them as a headline act, continuing his four-decade legacy as one of electronic music’s most recognisable figures with a high-energy set packed with classics and new releases. The Kooks add their indie anthems to the top tier, while Loyle Carner brings thoughtful, soulful UK rap to the coastline.

Boardmasters will also host exclusive performances, including Tash Sultana’s only English festival appearance of the year and a debut festival set from Welsh rapper and singer-songwriter Ren. Afternoon special guests Dizzee Rascal, Tinie Tempah and Example promise high-octane hits, while phase one also features Pendulum (Live), Rudimental, James Arthur, Brooke Combe, The Darkness, Goldie (Live), Matt Corby, Alessi Rose, DJ AG, Dimension, Window Kid, 4am Kru, Saint Ludo, Lambrini Girls, Florence Road and more.

Beyond the main stages, the festival transforms Newquay into a sprawling playground of surf culture, sport, wellness and creativity. Fistral Beach hosts the Boardmasters Open surf competitions, while both sites come alive with yoga, saunas, hot tubs, sound baths, spa sessions, massages, ice baths, fitness classes, run clubs and beach football. Art installations, craft workshops, talks, comedy, skateboarding, bingo, silent discos and a diverse food offering celebrating Cornish producers round out the experience.

With tens of thousands already signed up for presale access, organisers are urging fans not to miss the chance to secure tickets early for what promises to be one of the most atmospheric and adventurous editions of Boardmasters yet.
