Katy Perry announced as second headliner for Rock in Rio Lisbon 2026

Katy Perry has been announced as the second headliner for Rock in Rio Lisbon 2026, performing on 20th June 2026.

The superstar  will take the Palco Mundo stage, promising one of the festival’s most anticipated moments in a vibrant celebration of energy, colour, and emotion. Perry joins the previously announced headliner Linkin Park, who will perform on 21st June 2026.

The first day of Rock in Rio Lisbon 2026 is Pop Day, a day to dance and celebrate with family, bringing energy, emotion, colour, unity, and joy, where generations come together to experience music. Palco Mundo will combine Katy Perry’s sweetness and spectacle with the energy of one of Brazil’s biggest music phenomena Pedro Sampaio, the moving Lusophone artist Calema, and one of the most acclaimed Portuguese bands of the new generation NAPA on the new Super Bock Stage.

In 2026, Rock in Rio Lisbon evolves again, expanding the City of Rock by over 25,000 m². The festival will be offering more comfort and unbelievable experiences and spectacles on a level only found at a Rock In Rio show. Lisbon will undeniably be the entertainment destination of the world next June.

In 2026, Rock in Rio Lisbon will transform the capital’s sky into a dream stage. The festival is set to premiere The Flight, a unique aerial show created specifically for the 11th edition of the festival, promising to leave a lasting impression and bring the festival’s excitement beyond the traditional music stages.

Roberta Medina, Executive Vice President of Rock in Rio Lisbon, said: “We are preparing the largest and best edition of Rock in Rio Lisbon with unique and memorable experiences. In this way, we position Lisbon and the festival as global references in entertainment tourism. We want Rock in Rio Lisbon to continue being much more than a festival, a stage for unique, live, and collective experiences showing that people united in peace and harmony are the greatest transformative force to build the world we want to see.”

The 11th edition of Rock in Rio Lisbon will make history on June 20th, 21st, 27th, and 28th, 2026. Tickets for 20th and 21st June are available at tickets.rockinriolisboa.pt (powered by Fever), feverup.com, Worten stores, and worten.pt.
