HARDY is officially returning to his country roots. The country rock star has confirmed his new album COUNTRY! COUNTRY! will be released on September 26 via Big Loud Records. A new track from the project, ‘Bottomland,' is set to arrive this Friday. Pre-orders here.
The album was written following the release of HARDY’s 2024 rock album Quit!!, which earned widespread critical acclaim. While he embraced the full-throttle energy of the rock world, HARDY says he eventually missed the country music community—the songwriters, collaborators, and friends who helped shape his early career and the HIXTAPE series. Feeling creatively recharged, he dove back into country, and ‘COUNTRY! COUNTRY!' is the result.
The album’s title serves as a clear signal: this is unapologetically country music, both in sound and spirit. Songs range from nostalgic nods to his Mississippi upbringing—like ‘Bottomland' a reference to a hunting camo pattern he grew up with—to broader reflections on the genre and its current state. The record builds on the recent EP ‘COUNTRY!,' which includes ‘Favorite Country Song,' currently making waves at country radio and featured in a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
HARDY is also gearing up to continue the JIM BOB World Tour, returning to the road later this month with a mix of festival appearances and headlining shows. The tour will reach a milestone moment with HARDY’s first-ever performance at Madison Square Garden during the week of the album’s release. Support for select dates will come from Koe Wetzel, Stephen Wilson Jr., and Sikarus.
The announcement continues a massive run for the Mississippi native. In the past year alone, HARDY made his debut at the Grand Ole Opry with Metallica’s James Hetfield in attendance, released the chart-topping Quit!!, performed at CMA Fest, headlined stadiums, collaborated with Fred Durst and Chad Smith, and racked up over 6 billion career streams.
