Old Dominion are teasing fans with another taster from their upcoming album ‘Barbara‘, released on 22nd August 2025.
The band has released the heartfelt new song ‘Miss You Man', which was written as a tribute to friend of the band and songwriter Andrew Dorff, who passed away in 2016. Watch the video below:
A heartfelt ballad featuring frontman Matthew Ramsey’s tender vocals, layered with steady percussion and subtly powerful guitar riffs, the track reminisces on some of the band’s favorite memories with Dorff and the lasting mark he left on their lives. “Miss You Man” captures the quiet ways we carry those we’ve lost, offering a heartfelt tribute to lasting friendship and the enduring impact of someone gone too soon. Alongside the track, the band released a brand new music video in Dorff’s memory.
“Some years ago, we lost our dear friend Andrew Dorff far too soon,” Ramsey said. “We play songs we’ve written with him every night on stage. When you hear our music, many times you are also hearing the voice of Andrew. There is a saying – grief is the price of love. We all experience that loss at some point and we carry that love as we go through that process, in some ways, for the rest of our lives. Miss You Man is a tribute to grief, friendship, and love.”
Old Dominion recently kicked off their massive ‘How Good Is That – World Tour', visiting amphitheaters and arenas nationwide throughout the summer and fall. With a setlist blending new tracks from ‘Barbara' alongside fan favourites, the band promises an unforgettable live experience.
