Two of Texas country’s biggest names have joined forces as Randy Rogers Band teams up with Platinum-selling artist Parker McCollum on their new single ‘Is This Thing Workin’,' now available everywhere. Blending heartfelt storytelling with a modern edge, the collaboration captures the deep-rooted friendship between the two artists and showcases the musical chemistry that’s developed over a decade of working together.
Co-written by Randy Rogers, Parker McCollum, and Monty Criswell, the track is a standout example of what happens when tradition meets contemporary flair.
The release was teased in a joint Instagram video featuring both artists, offering fans a first look at the cover art and building excitement online. For Rogers, the song marks a personal milestone: “Having Parker on a song with me is a full circle moment,” he shared. “We’ve been friends and working together for about 10 years, and now having this song out together is really special.”
‘Is This Thing Workin’ follows the band’s reflective 2025 single ‘Break Itself,' their first new music in two years, produced by Jedd Hughes. More releases are expected from Randy Rogers Band in the coming months.
