ERNEST launches DeVille Records & teams up with Snoop Dogg for ‘Gettin’ Gone’

Country artist and two-time 2025 ACM Award nominee ERNEST has officially dropped ‘Gettin’ Gone,' a laid-back, genre-blending track featuring none other than global icon Snoop Dogg. The release marks the debut single from ERNEST’s newly announced label, DeVille Records, and is accompanied by a music video out now.

Co-written by ERNEST, a three-time CMA Triple Play Award winner, ‘Gettin’ Gone' was initially shared casually with Snoop Dogg, who immediately wanted to jump on the track. The official music video, directed by Dustin Haney, showcases the duo cruising through Nashville in ERNEST’s Cadillac DeVille, with scenes filmed around Castle Recording Studios and Broadway.

‘Gettin’ Gone' also offers the first look into ‘Cadillac Sessions,' a mixtape-style compilation arriving May 9 via DeVille Records. The project will include new original songs and a cover from GRAMMY-nominated Chandler Walters, Cody Lohden, and Rhys Rutherford, along with appearances from additional superstar guests and rare tracks from ERNEST’s vault.

Blending honky tonk, Western swing, and ‘90s country with vivid storytelling and modern hooks, ‘Cadillac Sessions' aims to merge traditional roots with a fresh, contemporary sound. Much of the music was recorded at Nashville’s Castle Recording Studios, which also serves as a backdrop for a behind-the-scenes documentary series tied to the project. The series will highlight the chemistry between artists and the spark of creativity that defines this new chapter in country music.

The buzz around ERNEST continues to build, with praise from major outlets like Variety, The New York Times, and Billboard. The Los Angeles Times recently noted ERNEST’s role in “reviving the sound of classic country music,” while The Tennessean hailed him as the artist best positioned to redefine the communal spirit of Nashville’s country scene for the next generation.

‘Cadillac Sessions' is available for pre-save and pre-add now.
