Brett Young to release fourth album ‘2.0’ in June

Brett Young will release his fourth studio album ‘2.0' on Friday 13th June 2025 (pre-save now) via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment.

The set is produced by Jimmy Robbins and Dan Huff, and it features 11 songs. Fans can expect Young’s signature Caliville style mixed with driving Classic Country instrumentation of banjo, pedal steel and mandolin. Across the record, Young is more vulnerable than ever before.

‘2.0' includes tracks written alongside top-shelf hitmakers and coveted songwriters, including Ashley Gorley, Jon Nite, Justin Ebach and more. It features a collaboration with Lady A on ‘Who I Do It for' as well as a new version of his Diamond-certified hit ‘In Case You Didn't Know' featuring Hannah McFarland.

“It’s always my goal to be real and transparent and connect with my audience, whether that means writing a song about what happened yesterday or revisiting past experiences,” shares Young. “It should always be about a connection with the listeners. ‘2.0' feels really special to me, and I’m very proud of it. I hope it makes people want to come out and see the live show even more.”

Young will release new single ‘Drink With You' on Friday 11th April with its world premiere on US Country radio taking place tomorrow, Thursday 10th April. Penned by Young, Jesse Frasure, Tony Lucca and GRAMMY Award-winner Emily Weisband, the song is a pedal steel-stamped struggle of resisting alcohol-induced romantic temptations.

Young is currently on the road headlining the ‘Back To Basics World Tour' 2025, which kicked off February 13th in Springfield, IL.  It includes shows across the U.S., Canada, Australia, the EU, and UK, offering fans a stripped-down, intimate concert experience.
