Rising country-pop duo 2 Lane Summer has officially released their debut EP, ‘The Love Songs,' now available on all streaming platforms. Signed to Quartz Hill Records, the duo—Joe Hanson and Chris Ray—has built a devoted fanbase through their heartfelt originals and viral covers, amassing more than 380,000 social media followers.
Known for their smooth harmonies, which Billboard describes as “bold and beautiful,” Hanson and Ray co-wrote all four tracks on ‘The Love Songs.' The EP includes two new stripped-down “wedding” versions of their most popular songs, offering intimate renditions perfect for romantic moments.
“It's another flavor of the same song that might be more palatable in an intimate setting, like a wedding or a slow dance,” Hanson said. “We believe in these songs so much. They've already gained a lot of traction on social media, and there's still so much left for the world to hear.”
The EP’s centerpiece, ‘Til the Day That I Die (Wedding Version),' is a heartfelt pledge of lifelong love, designed to be a wedding song for the ages. The emotional lyrics promise unwavering devotion:

“We just wanted to write a love song,” Ray added. “Something every guy wants to say to his girl, his wife, his woman. What could be stronger than loving someone until death?”
The official music video for ‘Til the Day That I Die' features breathtaking views of the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee. Filmed at a private residence near Sewanee, the video showcases Ray’s piano perched on a cliff’s edge, capturing the song’s sweeping emotion against a stunning backdrop.
“It was both fun and terrifying,” Ray said. “But we’d do it again for the fans!”
The EP was produced by acclaimed songwriter Ash Bowers and features a blend of soulful country and pop influences that define 2 Lane Summer’s signature sound.
