Written by Watkins, Will Bundy, Nicolle Galyon and Rodney Clawson, ‘Lose My Cool' blends her signature smoky neo-traditional country with a modern edge. Inspired by her marriage, the song captures the moment when your guard comes down for the right person, balancing independence with undeniable attraction. Her smoky vocals weave between a drawl and a smirk as she delivers a song that trades overly sentimental clichés for sharp, real emotion.

Following on from the release and success of ‘The Heartbroken Record', Watkins is moving on from heartbreak. She's now happily married to producer Bundy and has a renewed sense of confidence.

Fans will get the chance to hear ‘Lose My Cool' live as Watkins hits the road next weekend with Zach Top for his ‘Cold Beer and Country Music' Tour, which will visit her old stomping grounds of Mississippi. After spending 2024 on Morgan Wallen's ‘One Thing At A Time Tour', Watkins will continue earning her stripes on the road as she joins Riley Green and Lainey Wilson this summer and fall.
