‘When Hope Calls' Season 2, inspired by the best-selling novels of Janette Oke, will premiere on Pure Flix on 3rd April 2025 and Great American Family on 6th April 2025 at 8pm ET.
The series first aired in 2019 but was canceled after season one until Great American Family picked the show up. ‘When Hope Calls Christmas' was a two-hour movie on Great American Family in 2022. It rejoined many members of the cast and also crossed over Lori Loughlin (Abigail Stanton) and Daniel Lissing (Mountie Jack) who Abigail communicates with in a dream. When Hope Calls is inspired by the beloved novels of bestselling author, Janette Oke.
Trevor Donovan has a recurring story arc as a Mountie from neighboring town of Clearwater who comes in to help Mountie Fletcher protect the land and livestock from a band of ruthless cattle rustlers.
The synopsis of the first episode of season 2 is:
When Nora (Busby), an out-of-town lawyer, arrives in Brookfield led by an unexpected family connection, the town welcomes her along with the new Mountie, Michael Fletcher (Christopher Russell) who is filling in for Mountie Gabriel (RJ Hatanaka). Sam (Jon McLaren) returns from prospecting for gold and meets Maggie’s (Hanneke Talbot) parents. When Lillian (Kohan) receives a letter from Mountie Gabriel telling her how much he loves her, she is torn between her long-distance love and ongoing duty to the orphanage. Hannah Lawrence (Sarah Fisher) inherits the ranch of her late uncle, Ray, and with the help of Wyatt (Nick Bateman) tries to keep it.
