The rumours are true – British boyband Five is finally back together with all five original members.
After teasing big news on their socials this week, and confirming that Abz Love and J Brown were back in the band, Five has today announced the details of their ‘Keep On Movin' reunion tour. This marks the first time that all five members of the band have performed together since 2001, when Sean Conlon left the group.
In 2013 Scott Robinson, Ritchie Neville, Sean Conlon and Abz Love reformed for ITV's ‘The Big Reunion' but J Brown declined to join his bandmates. Brown was featured in a video interview during the series explaining that he had concerns over protecting his privacy.
Over the years, the band has performed in different configurations, most recently as a trio with Conlon, Robinson and Neville. Fans have been waiting a long time to see all five members back together and the new tour is sure to be one of the hottest tickets of the year.
The run will kick off on 31st October at Brighton's Brighton Centre and the band will perform 12 shows across the UK. You may notice there are gaps in the schedule so don't be surprised if additional dates are added. The band will be joined on the tour by Naughty Boy, who will perform a warm-up DJ set.
Scott says: “This has been a long time coming and it really does feel right for all of us now – 25 years on and we’re so ready for it. Reconnecting as a 5 over the last year has been special and I know I speak for all the boys when I say we can’t wait to do this all over again. Hope you’re ready!!”
Abz adds: “We really can’t wait to get back on stage together & see the fans, it’s gonna go OFF! Buzzing to have Naughty Boy on tour with us too… 5 bad boys and a naughty boy, that sounds like a lot of fun. Let’s gooooo!”
