The tour kicks off on April 17, 2025, at the Villa Marina in the Isle of Man and will visit a mix of iconic and intimate venues, including several he’s never played before, such as Stockton Globe, Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo, and The Piece Hall in Halifax. Fans can look forward to unique outdoor performances at Scarborough Open Air Theatre, The Eden Project in Cornwall, and Blenheim Palace in June.
Tickets go on sale at 9:30 AM on Friday, November 29, 2024.
A Milestone in a Legendary Career
The Songbook Tour reflects Barlow’s immense contributions to music as one of Britain’s most celebrated songwriters and record producers. With eight BRIT Awards and over 45 million records sold as part of Take That, his impact on the pop music landscape is undeniable.
One of the band’s most iconic songs, ‘Back For Good,' celebrates its 30th anniversary in March 2025. Originally released in 1995, the track topped the charts for four weeks and remains a beloved pop classic.
The tour follows a monumental year for Barlow, during which Take That’s This Life On Tour sold over one million tickets worldwide. The band’s 2023 album ‘This Life' earned their 12th No. 1 album in the UK and spawned hits like ‘Windows' and ‘This Life.' In October, the group hosted The Greatest Weekend in Malta, performing their iconic album ‘Everything Changes' live for the first time since its 1993 release.
Beyond Music: A Multifaceted Career
In addition to his Take That achievements, Barlow has co-written and produced tracks for legendary artists, including Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John, and Robbie Williams. Recently, he collaborated with JIN of BTS, writing the track ‘Running Wild.'
Barlow also ventured into the world of wine with Gary Barlow Wines, celebrating its third anniversary this year. His ITV series, Gary Barlow’s Wine Tour: South Africa, explored his passions for wine and travel, and the brand has sold over 10 million glasses of wine in the UK.
