Kentucky native and rising country-rock star Kyle Daniel has just dropped the video for his latest single ‘Summer Down South' following the release of his acclaimed debut album ‘Kentucky Gold' and two standout performances at The Long Road Festival. ‘Summer Down South' is a feel-good anthem that captures the essence of Southern summers, blending imagery of hot weather, cold beer, and good times with an infectious chorus that invites listeners to raise their drinks and revel in the Southern vibe.
The track showcases Kyle’s signature gritty vocals, enhanced by the distinct southern rock flair of The Cadillac Three. “This was my favorite song to record for the album,” Kyle shares. “It took me back to my high school days, mixing in some of The Strokes' influence with a bit of my buddies, The Cadillac Three. Working with Jaren [Johnston] was a pleasure, both in writing and production.”
