Diamond-certified, multi-platinum rock band Nickelback is set to release their new live album, ‘Nickelback: Live From Nashville' on November 15th via BMG. The album kicks off with the lead single ‘San Quentin (Live From Nashville)' offering fans a blistering taste of the energy that filled Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena during their sold-out 2023 Get Rollin’ Tour. The Tennessean hailed the concert as “fiery, raucous, unapologetic, and rock-driven,” and now fans can relive the magic of that unforgettable night.
‘Live From Nashville' captures live renditions of some of Nickelback’s biggest hits along with performances featuring special guests, including collaborations with top artists like ERNEST, Josh Ross, Brantley Gilbert, Chris Daughtry, Bailey Zimmerman, and HARDY. The album includes their cover of Steve Earle’s ‘Copperhead Road,' a rendition of ERNEST’s ‘Flower Shops' and a performance of HARDY’s hit ‘SOLD OUT' among others.
The release of ‘Live From Nashville' follows the band's 2023 documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival before landing on Netflix. The film, directed by Leigh Brooks, chronicles the band’s rise from their humble beginnings in Alberta to global rock stardom, highlighting both their triumphs and challenges.
Nickelback’s live album comes two years after their 10th studio record ‘Get Rollin’ which debuted at #2 on multiple rock charts and hit the Top 10 in several countries, including the UK, Canada, and Australia. In 2023, the band was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, solidifying their legacy as one of rock’s biggest acts.
