‘Strictly Come Dancing' 2024 continued last night and the 15 couples danced again to try and avoid tonight's dreaded dance-off.
As is to be expected at this point in the competition, the 15 celebrities are performing to varying standards with some appearing very natural and others struggling to get into the right rhythm. While the judges cast their verdicts during last night's live show, we're sharing our own thoughts on who performed well.
Keep reading to find out who made our Top 5 dances of the night…
5. JB Gill and Amy Dowden – Cha Cha
One of the night's most under-marked dances, JLS star JB Gill owned the floor with his partner Amy Dowden during their sensational Cha Cha. The routine played to Gill's boyband background, and it was a fun number. We're not sure what the judges were watching but it wasn't the same as us!
4. Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe – Samba
Gladiator Fire aka Montell Douglas is one of our tips to make it to the final and this week's Samba was scorching hot. Her athleticism gives her a natural grace on the dancefloor and her partnership with Johannes is one of this year's best. Fluid, elegant and fun, this was a fantastic routine.
3. Shayne Ward and Nancy Xu – Tango
Going into the competition we had high hopes for Shayne Ward and he's not let us down. Looking super dapper with his slicked back hair (more of that please), Shayne showed an improvement on week 1. With Nancy as his partner he has an excellent trainer and his Tango was seriously impressive.
2. Tasha Ghouri and Alejaz Skorjanec – Viennese Waltz
The judges went wild for it but it wasn't our favourite of the night. Tasha is doing really well two weeks into the competition but there were a couple of little faults during her Viennese Waltz. Overall it was a beautiful performance, but just not as strong as some of the other contestants.
1. Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola – Paso Doble
They may have come second on the leaderboard last night but they were by far our favourites. There's been some grumbling about the fact that Sarah has had dance training during her career but you can't fault her fiery Paso Doble with partner Vito. She likely won't win the series but she'll be in it until the final we reckon.
‘Strictly Come Dancing' 2024 continues with the first results show of the series tonight at 7.15pm.
