The six-part drama immerses Sophie Turner in the complex and captivating role of Joan Hannington, a notorious jewel thief. Created and written by Anna Symon and set against the vibrant and aspirational backdrop of 1980s London, this series unravels the multifaceted life of a MOTHER. LOVER. LIAR. THIEF.
Inspired by the real Joan Hannington and certain events from her life, this exhilarating and emotional drama is directed by Richard Laxton and produced by Ruth Kenley-Letts. The series also stars Frank Dillaine, Kirsty J Curtis, Gershwyn Eustache Jnr and Laura Aikman.
‘Joan' launches on ITV1 and ITVX on Sunday 29th September at 9pm, with the second episode airing on Monday 30th September at 9pm.
