Dasha releases ‘Austin’ sequel-adjacent new track ‘Didn’t I’

Pop-country sensation Dasha, one of the breakout stars of 2024, has released her highly anticipated new song ‘Didn't I' via Warner Records. Fans can listen to the track and watch the accompanying video now.

“'Didn't I' is so nostalgic; there's something about my past that intrigues me, including the men,” Dasha shares. “In the writer's room, I was referring to a time months ago when I was backsliding into the guy that ‘Austin' is about. It's admitting like, ‘Oops, here I am again, my bad,' but I love how we made it lighthearted and fun.”

This latest track highlights Dasha's dynamic vocals, clever songwriting, and undeniable star power. With handclaps driving the momentum and fiddle accents complementing a bright banjo riff, ‘Didn't I' showcases Dasha's talent for blending cheeky storytelling with an infectious melody. The chorus, “So why am I here with your lips on mine? I could've sworn I said, ‘This is over. Didn't I?'” is sure to resonate with fans.

Dasha's success continues to soar with her hit single ‘Austin (Boots Stop Workin')' reaching #3 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and breaking into the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 at #19. Her album, What Happens Now?, also climbed to #2 on the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart and peaked at #117 on the Billboard 200.

Adding to her impressive year, Dasha's global headline tour, Dashville, U.S.A, has sold out in most markets. Limited tickets are still available for shows in Stockholm, Amsterdam, and Salt Lake City. She will be performing to sold-out crowds in major cities including London, Los Angeles, New York, and Nashville.

A highlight of the year was Dasha's debut at the iconic Grand Ole Opry® in Nashville, TN. She captivated the audience with performances of her hit single ‘Austin' and other favourites from ‘What Happens Now?' marking a significant milestone in her career alongside legendary artists like Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Lady A, and Blake Shelton.

Stay tuned for more exciting updates from Dasha as her star continues to rise.
