Elles Bailey releases new ‘Ballad Of A Broken Dream’ alongside Glastonbury debut

Alongside her debut performance at Glastonbury this weekend, Elles Bailey has dropped her latest single, ‘Ballad Of A Broken Dream.' The track is the newest release from her upcoming album ‘Beneath The Neon Glow' set to launch on August 9th through Cooking Vinyl Records.

A punchy rock and blues ballad, ‘Ballad Of A Broken Dream' delves into the struggles faced by musicians. “There is no denying the link between musicians and mental health and the toil that this chosen path can take on a creative,” Elles explains. “The track follows the story of a tortured artist who, despite his undeniable talent, ends up playing dive bars where no one knows his name. This song is very personal to me, but tragically, it's the story of so many incredible talents who struggle with their mental health.”

Upcoming Album: Beneath The Neon Glow

‘Beneath The Neon Glow' showcases Elles Bailey's signature blend of British roots, Americana, and blues across ten powerful and uplifting tracks. Produced by Dan Weller (Enter Shikari) and recorded with her exceptional live band, the album explores various forms of love. Through lyrically vulnerable and brutally honest songwriting, Elles delves into heartbreak, the resilience of friendship, and the enduring power of love that spans a lifetime.

“I might be new to some people, but I have been around for quite a long while. I'm not here for a flash-in-the-pan moment. I want a long-term career in music. I love what I do and that I get to take it around the world. So if I can continue to do that and just play to larger audiences and continue to grow, that's exactly what I'll do.”
