Chris Young has been cleared of all charges following his recent arrest for allegedly assaulting a Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Officer.
Following the release of security camera footage earlier this week, which proved that Young was the wronged party in the incident after being shoved backwards into a table, all charges against the singer have been dismissed.
In a statement issued by Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, he stated “Regarding the Chris Young incident – After a review of all the evidence in this case, the Office of the District Attorney has determined that these charges will be dismissed.”
Young’s attorney, Bill Ramsey, shared, “Mr. Young and I are gratified with the DA’s decision clearing him of the charges and any wrong-doing.”
Looking to the year ahead, Young is gearing up for the release of his ninth studio album ‘Young Love & Saturday Nights' on 22d Marc h2024 via Sony Music Nashville. He recently unveiled the single ‘Right Now' and he will be heading out on his ‘Young Love & Saturday Nights 2024 Tour' very soon.
