Yesterday, the Grand Ole Opry thrilled fans with a sold-out ‘Opry NextStage Live From Texas' event at Lava Cantina in Frisco, Texas. Hosted by top ACM Award nominee Jelly Roll, the show featured a surprise performance by Lainey Wilson, adding an extra layer of excitement to the night.
This special event, held just one day before the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards, showcased the talents of the Opry NextStage Class of 2024. The lineup included Anne Wilson, Chase Matthew, Ella Langley, Flatland Cavalry, Madeline Edwards, and Wyatt Flores, along with NextStage alums Restless Road and Tenille Townes.

For those unable to attend in person, the event was live-streamed on the Opry’s Facebook page and YouTube channel, allowing fans everywhere to join in the celebration.
Since its inception in 2019, the Opry NextStage program has been a platform for emerging artists, helping them reach new audiences. Notable alumni such as Riley Green, Parker McCollum, Tenille Townes, and Lainey Wilson have all gone on to win ACM New Male and Female Artist of the Year awards following their inclusion in the program. The list of NextStage artists also includes Priscilla Block, BRELAND, Callista Clark, Travis Denning, Niko Moon, Jameson Rodgers, Elvie Shane, Conner Smith, Nate Smith, Morgan Wade, and Hailey Whitters.
