The Opry debut caps a remarkable few weeks for the RECORDS Nashville/Columbia artist, who has been building serious momentum across the United States. Earlier this month, Geiger made his debut at CMA Fest before launching his first-ever US headline run, the New Dirt, Same Boots Tour. The shows introduced American audiences to his energetic live presence and storytelling-led songwriting, culminating in sold-out headline dates at Houston’s Armadillo Palace, College Station’s The Tap and the legendary Gruene Hall in New Braunfels.
That growing reputation has been driven in large part by his breakout single ‘String By,' which continues to gain traction across multiple platforms. The track has already surpassed 43 million global streams, climbed to No. 3 on Spotify’s Viral 50 USA chart and secured a Top 10 position on the US Shazam chart, while also making its impact at country radio.
Geiger’s momentum has been further solidified with the release of his debut EP, ‘Walk A Straight Line,' a six-track collection that showcases both his songwriting instincts and artistic identity. Produced by Jared Adlam, the project sees Geiger take a hands-on approach, writing five of the six tracks solo and offering a clear statement of intent as he begins to carve out his place in the genre.
With a breakthrough year that has already included a debut US tour, a CMA Fest appearance, a widely praised EP and now a standing-ovation Opry debut, Geiger’s trajectory shows no signs of slowing. As his audience continues to expand across streaming, radio and the live circuit, he is quickly establishing himself as one of country music’s most compelling new international voices.
