Lady Gaga and Doechii have debuted the music video for ‘Runway', their new single taken from the soundtrack for upcoming film sequel ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2'.
The song is executive produced by Gaga and Michael Polansky for Morningview and Doechii, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith and Moosa Tiffith for Top Dawg Entertainment/Adele Drive. The video was directed by Parris Goebel with choreography by Goebel and Robbie Blue.
Performed by Lady Gaga and Doechii, ‘Runway' was written by Bruno Mars, Jaylah Hickmon, Gaga, Andrew Watt, Henry Walter, Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II and Jayda Love, and produced by Bruno Mars, Andrew Watt, Cirkut and D’Mile.
Following the song’s release, ‘Runway' hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Digital Song Sales chart, debuted in the Top 10 on the Digital Song Sales, Hot Dance/Pop Songs and Dance Streaming Songs charts, and in the Top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song also charted internationally in markets including Australia, Canada, Ireland, Japan and the United Kingdom.
‘Runway' is the first collaboration between Gaga and Doechii. Last year, Doechii presented Gaga with the Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, calling Gaga “a lifeline” and reflecting on her impact on young queer fans around the world. In a recent interview with ‘British Vogue', Gaga praised Doechii’s artistry, writing, “You don’t often see someone come out of the gate with a pen that feels immediately legendary. That’s Doechii to me.”
‘The Devil Wears Prada 2' is released in cinemas on 1st May 2026 and it reunites the original main cast – Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci – with director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna. New cast members include Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, and B.J. Novak. Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman also reprise their roles as Lily and Irv from the first film.
