Jason Michael Carroll to release new album ‘Anthem’ this month

Jason Michael Carroll will release new album ‘Anthem' on 22nd March 2026, it has been announced.

The Country hitmaker and storyteller has released his latest single from the project, ‘I Love You Best', which is available to stream now. It was written by Michele Overton and Carroll, and is poised to become Carroll's next wedding-worthy anthem. Take a listen:

The track was sparked by an eight-page song idea from Overton that immediately struck a personal chord. Carroll shaped the concept around a familiar family memory, the kind of “I love you more” exchange that never really ends, and turned it into a declaration that feels both intimate and undeniable.

“‘I Love You Best’ reminded me of the way my mom used to say ‘I love you more’ to me and my siblings,” Carroll shares. “I always had to have the last word, so I’d tell her, ‘Nope, I love you more, the end.’ That’s the spirit of this song. simple message of gratitude for the person who stays through the highs and lows.”

Carroll continues, “For me, that’s Wendy. This song is my thank you to her for believing there was a good man inside me, even when I wasn’t showing it. She’s always worked to make me better, even when I didn’t deserve that kind of patience and love. Wendy is the best person I know.”

“I Love You Best” continues the momentum of Carroll’s current era, following recent releases including the genre-blending “Nothin’ But Country (feat. Petey Pablo)” and the thought-provoking “What Ever Happened to Heroes.” Together, the tracks preview the scope of Carroll’s forthcoming full-length album ‘Anthem', a deeply autobiographical body of work that traces Carroll’s journey through addiction, redemption, marriage, fatherhood, grief, patriotism, and southern pride.

The album features powerful moments of vulnerability on tracks like ‘Sober' and ‘There Goes God Again', deeply personal reflections such as ‘Argue With The Walls', and social commentary in ‘What Ever Happened to Heroes'. It also embraces levity and swagger with ‘Jeans Like That' and the genre-bending collaboration “Nothin’ But Country” (feat. Petey Pablo).
