‘Echobreaker’ coming to Steam in 2026

‘Echobreaker', the upcoming lightning-fast precision speedrunner from publisher Weekend Games and independent British developer Upstream Arcade, is coming to PC via Steam this year.

Go fast and risk it all in gameplay designed around tight execution, rapid resets, and relentless optimization. Watch the trailer for the game below:

As the pilot of a heavily armoured combat rig, the directive from your employers, TDS Industries, is simple: complete each test course in the fastest time possible. Put your health on the line and manoeuvre through each level of this neon-drenched science facility to set record times against other players on ‘Echobreaker’s global leaderboard.

Each level is punishing and comes with huge pressure, designed to simulate real combat conditions. That includes enemies, who can be taken down and taken out to gain explosive bursts of speed. Or, solve each course like a high-speed puzzle, navigating difficult and risky routes in order to shave precious seconds off of your final time.

The powerful yet volatile Temporal Echo Drive that your rig is equipped with also allows you to enter Echo State as you slow time and succeed at difficult landings. Complete with time-bending power-ups and double-jumps, you’ll need to use everything to your advantage.

Key Features of ‘Echobreaker' are:

  • Find your perfect line: Test your reflexes and hone your rig mastery. Fracture and manipulate time itself to boost your top speed.
  • Can you become number one?: Compete against other players on the global leaderboard, show off your badges to friends or simply compete with your ghost as you try to break both personal and world records across each of the 15 tracks.
  • Flow state focus: Step into a sci-fi world drenched in gorgeous neon colour, where every track is something to be solved and mastered.

‘Echobreaker' will be released on PC in 2026 and you can wishlist it now on Steam.
