Danish series ‘Oxen' returns for Season 2 on C4 Streaming in March thanks to Walter Presents.
Created by Mai Brostrøm and Peter Thorsboe, the six-part drama stars Jacob Lohmann, Josephine Park and Ellen Hillingsø.
Former special forces operative Niels Oxen is forced into hiding, with a video which exposes the Justice Minister’s involvement in a murder. Drawn deeper into a dangerous confrontation with a shadowy elite known only as Danehof, Oxen forms a fragile allegiance with PET chief Frigg Mossman, who is closing in on a far-reaching conspiracy at the heart of power.
Hunted by both the authorities and the plutocracy, Oxen’s loyalties are tested and old alliances fracture, exploring the personal cost of standing up to forces that control a society; Denmark’s democracy may be on the line.
