The Eurovision Song Contest is heading out on the road for the very first time. To celebrate 70 years of the world’s biggest live music event, the European Broadcasting Union has announced the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour, set to travel across Europe in summer 2026.
Created especially for the landmark anniversary, the tour will bring together icons from seven decades of Eurovision alongside artists competing in the 2026 Contest. Spanning ten major European cities, the shows promise a full-scale celebration of Eurovision’s musical legacy, its global fan community and the unforgettable performances that have defined the Contest for generations.
The announcement follows record-breaking demand for tickets to the 70th Eurovision Song Contest itself, which will take place in Vienna in May 2026. With many fans unable to secure tickets for the live shows in Austria, the Live Tour offers a new opportunity to experience the magic of Eurovision in arenas across Europe, complete with the spectacle, energy and production values the event is known for.
Throughout June and July, tens of thousands of fans will come together to celebrate not just the music, but the shared traditions and sense of community that make Eurovision a cultural phenomenon. Each show will feature legendary performers from the Contest’s history, alongside ten artists from the 2026 competition, with surprise special guests also set to appear in every city.
The lineup of 2026 artists joining the tour will be confirmed by the EBU the day after the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final on 16 May. The Eurovision icons performing in each city will be announced in the coming weeks, with registered Eurofans receiving the news first. Artist lineups may vary by city, with full details available via eurovision.com/tour once confirmed.
Artists on the Live Tour will perform their own Eurovision entries as well as cover versions of favourite songs from the Contest’s 70-year history, offering a unique blend of nostalgia and new music in every show.
Eurofans who register before 1 February 2026 will receive exclusive early access to tickets through a dedicated pre-sale. Registration is available via the Eurovision website, with further ticketing details for each date to be announced shortly.
The Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour will be promoted by Semmel Concerts, with Progress Productions serving as the production company.
Martin Green CBE, Director of the Eurovision Song Contest, said the tour represents a major milestone in the event’s history. He explained that the Live Tour captures Eurovision’s evolution from a broadcast icon into an immersive live experience, celebrating its past while looking firmly to the future. For the first time, he added, the magic of Eurovision will be brought directly to fans and their families across Europe.
James O’Brien, CEO of Progress Productions, described the tour as an extraordinary honour, noting that the Eurovision Song Contest has delivered some of the most memorable performances in music history. He said the 2026 tour will channel that energy into arenas across the continent, celebrating everything that makes Eurovision iconic.
The Live Tour will begin one month after the Grand Final of the 70th Eurovision Song Contest, which takes place in Vienna on 16 May 2026, with Semi-Finals held on 12 and 14 May. The competition will see songs and artists from 35 broadcasters perform at the Wiener Stadthalle, a venue with its own Eurovision history, having previously hosted the Contest in 2015.
