Jason Aldean expands ‘Songs About Us’ era with three new tracks and personal reflections

Jason Aldean continues to build momentum toward his next studio album, Songs About Us, with the release of three new tracks that deepen the emotional scope of the project. Out now, ‘Easier Gone' featuring Brittany Aldean, ‘Her Favorite Color' and ‘What’s A Little Heartache' offer an intimate preview of the 20-song album, which is set for release on April 24, 2026. The trio of songs highlights Aldean’s ability to balance vulnerability with the anthemic country sound that has defined his career, while also marking a long-awaited duet with his wife.

According to Aldean, the heart of the album lies in its honesty. He describes ‘Songs About Us' as a reflection of real life in all its complexity, shaped by personal moments and shared experiences. That sense of relatability runs through the newly released tracks, which explore love, loss and resilience with a grounded, lived-in perspective that has long resonated with his audience.

The new music arrives alongside another milestone moment, as Aldean appears as the January cover star of Nashville Lifestyles. In the feature, he reflects on family, longevity and the personal experiences influencing this next phase of his career. The themes explored in the interview closely mirror those found on Songs About Us, reinforcing the album’s focus on authenticity and storytelling drawn from real life.

Today’s release follows the album’s initial announcement last November, when Aldean surprised fans with early tracks ‘Help You Remember,' ‘Hard To Love You' and ‘Lovin’ Me Too Long.' Those songs joined his current single ‘How Far Does A Goodbye Go,' which continues to climb the country charts and sit comfortably inside the Top 10. Songs About Us will follow Highway Desperado, the album that delivered Aldean his first Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper and his 30th number one at country radio.

Across more than two decades, Aldean has built one of the most formidable careers in modern country music, amassing 13 Top 10 country albums and 30 chart-topping radio singles. His recent SoundExchange Hall of Fame Award, recognizing him as one of the most-streamed artists of all time, further underscores his reach and longevity. He also recently fronted CBS’s New Year’s Eve 2026: Nashville’s Big Bash, performing live for a nationwide audience and debuting new music from the forthcoming album.

Looking ahead, Aldean shows no signs of slowing down. His Full Throttle World Tour returns to the US on January 15 before launching an international run in 2026, including his first-ever headline shows in New Zealand and a long-awaited return to Australia after more than a decade. With new music continuing to roll out and a global tour on the horizon, Songs About Us is shaping up to be another defining chapter in an already landmark career.
