Morgan Wallen has revealed a special limited-edition ‘I’m The Problem' CD zine, giving fans an intimate look at the creation of his record-breaking album and the personal moments behind it. First teased during an interview with Apple Music’s Kelleigh Bannen, the glossy 100-page publication will be available from December 19 and includes a heartfelt opening letter from his father, Tommy Wallen.
Alongside the letter, the zine features in-depth interviews with Wallen, producer Joey Moi, producer and songwriter Charlie Handsome, and songwriter Blake Pendergrass, plus never-before-seen photos, lyrics from all 37 tracks and the full ‘I’m The Problem' album across two CDs. Together, the content offers an insider perspective on the creative process behind one of the most successful country releases in recent years.
Reflecting on his collaborators, Wallen shared his appreciation for the team shaping his sound, saying, “I don't really write songs unless Charlie [Handsome] is involved at this point in my career. Blake Pendergrass is another guy who's been added into the fold over the last couple years, and I think he's one the best songwriters in Nashville. I feel fortunate to have those types of guys helping me with the process. Once you figure out what you're shooting for, you get in a rhythm of writing with those guys, and it really is fun.”
Released on May 16, 2025 via Big Loud/Mercury Records, ‘I’m The Problem' spent 12 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and 13 non-consecutive weeks atop the Billboard Canadian Albums chart, making it Wallen’s third consecutive album to spend at least 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, a first in music history.
The album also debuted at No. 1 in seven countries, marked his first UK Official Charts No. 1, and became the longest-running No. 1 country album in Australia in a decade, while ‘What I Want' featuring Tate McRae dominated Australia’s Country Airplay chart for five weeks.
