Cast Announced for ‘2:22 A Ghost Story’ as the supernatural West End smash heads to the Churchill Theatre, Bromley

The West End paranormal sensation ‘2:22 A Ghost Story', fresh from seven smash-hit seasons, a record-breaking UK and Ireland tour, and more than thirty international productions, will arrive at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley next year. It plays there from Mon 15th to Sat 20th June 2026.

The WhatsOnStage Award-winning thriller, written by ‘Uncanny' and ‘The Battersea Poltergeist' creator Danny Robins, will star James Bye (‘EastEnders'), Natalie Casey (‘2 Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps'), Gary Lucy (‘Hollyoaks'), and Shvorne Marks (‘Three Little Birds'). Each takes on the intense, twist-loaded roles that have turned the play into one of the biggest theatrical phenomena of the decade.

A genre-bending blend of psychological suspense, razor-sharp comedy and full-throttle tension, ‘2:22 A Ghost Story' has packed out the West End with audiences hooked by its clever mix of humour, mystery, and ghostly dread.

The story centres on Jenny, who is convinced that something sinister haunts her new home. Her husband Sam, a rational sceptic, refuses to believe her. When the couple host a dinner party with old friend Lauren and her new partner Ben, the night quickly spirals into a battle between belief and doubt. As the clock ticks closer to the fateful time of 2:22am, the line between paranoia and the paranormal blurs. Secrets start to spill, and the truth grows dangerously close.

Robins’ script has earned acclaim not only for its supernatural chills but for its sharp character work and audience-grabbing final twist. The Bromley cast brings a mix of stage experience and TV familiarity that should make the production a hot ticket for thriller fans and newcomers alike.

With its adrenaline-charged atmosphere and a reputation for leaving audiences debating what they’ve just witnessed long after curtain call, ‘2:22 A Ghost Story' is a welcome addition to the Churchill Theatre's 2026 season.
