Legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Aerosmith and British multi-platinum, GRAMMY-nominated artist Yungblud have officially released their collaborative EP ‘One More Time' via Capitol Records, marking Aerosmith’s first new music in over twelve years and a powerful meeting of two generations of rock. The five-track project features four brand new co-written songs alongside a newly remixed 2025 version of the Aerosmith classic Back in the Saddle, with Steven Tyler and Yungblud dueting across every track and Joe Perry’s unmistakable guitar work anchoring the sound throughout. Produced by Matt Schwartz, the EP is available digitally as well as on limited-edition vinyl, CD and cassette.
The release was led by the single My Only Angel, which arrived on September 19 alongside a visual and quickly became a standout success. Opening with an emotional a cappella harmony from Tyler and Yungblud, the track builds through echoing guitars and a driving rhythm before reaching a euphoric crescendo, capped by Perry’s signature guitar solo. The song debuted at number one on Billboard’s Hot Hard Rock Songs chart and has continued its upward momentum, amassing millions of streams and becoming Aerosmith’s 45th appearance on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
A stripped-back reinterpretation, My Only Angel (Desert Road Version), offers a more vulnerable take on the track and features a special guest appearance from GRAMMY winner Steve Martin on banjo. Inspired by the song’s emotional core, this version trades stadium-scale power for intimacy and texture, with Martin’s banjo providing a soulful and unexpected final flourish.
The EP also explores a wide emotional and sonic range. Problems delivers cinematic tension and tenderness as Yungblud sings, “I got a whole lot of problems, but it don’t matter when I’m with you,” while Wild Woman leans into a gritty blues swagger with smoldering call-and-response vocals. A Thousand Days arrives as a sweeping ballad rich in drama and longing, before the collection closes with Back in the Saddle (2025 Mix), an energized update that retains the spirit of the original while injecting modern ferocity through Yungblud’s snarling edge and Tyler’s iconic wail.
To celebrate the release, an exclusive Aerosmith x Yungblud two-day pop-up experience will take place at Complex LA on Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22, offering fans immersive installations, limited merchandise and collectible items from both artists. One More Time stands as a bold, heartfelt collaboration that bridges eras, revives classic rock spirit and redefines what cross-generational creativity can achieve.
