Brooks & Dunn celebrate landmark year marked by honours, milestones and a global 2026 ahead

Brooks & Dunn are closing out the year with a string of major milestones that highlight both their enduring influence and their deep-rooted connection to country music. In recent weeks, each member of the legendary duo has received significant individual honors: Ronnie Dunn was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame for his impact as an artist and songwriter shaped by his red-dirt heritage, while Kix Brooks earned a star on the Walk of Champions at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in recognition of his decades of service as a fundraiser, advocate, and longtime board member. Together, these achievements reinforce a shared legacy defined not only by musical excellence but also by an unwavering commitment to giving back—setting the stage for what promises to be an even bigger 2026.

These accolades cap off a standout year that once again underscored why Brooks & Dunn remain country music’s best-selling duo and its enduring gold standard. Their 2025 NEON MOON Tour filled arenas nationwide, earning praise for shows “packed with heart, energy, and pure country soul.” Over the summer, they delivered a hit-filled set at CMA Fest and joined Morgan Wallen for six stadium dates on his I’m The Problem Tour, demonstrating a continued ability to electrify both longtime fans and new audiences.

Away from the stage, Brooks & Dunn’s contributions were recognised with several major industry honours. They received The Western Heritage Awards’ Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, followed by a star-studded ACM ‘Play Something Country' gala celebrating their 35-year career. The event raised nearly $1.4 million for ACM Lifting Lives. At the 60th ACM Awards, the duo claimed Duo of the Year for a record-breaking 17th time, bringing their total career wins to 31. Their powerful performance of ‘Red Dirt Road' with Cody Johnson became one of the night’s standout moments, while Billboard’s naming of ‘Boot Scootin’ Boogie' as one of the Best Country Songs of All Time reaffirmed the timeless reach of their catalog.

Looking ahead, Brooks & Dunn will attend the 59th Annual CMA Awards on November 19 as the reigning and newly nominated Vocal Duo of the Year—an award they are tied for winning more than any other artist in CMA history. Their global reach will expand even further in 2026 when they embark on their first-ever series of UK dates, headlining Europe’s largest country music festival, C2C, with stops in Belfast, Glasgow, and London. They will then return stateside for Stagecoach before rejoining Morgan Wallen for eight dates on his Still the Problem Tour 2026. For all upcoming tour information, fans can visit Brooks-Dunn.com.
