‘Judge Marianne' is back on C4 Streaming for a second season this month thanks to Walter Presents.
The series is created by Céline Guyot, Martin Guyot, Alexandre Charlot and Franck Magnier. It stars Marilou Berry, Alexandre Steiger and Stéphane Pezerat.
In Season 2, Judge Marianne Vauban returns with her trademark unorthodox methods, sharp insight, and deep humanity. Alongside Captain Pastor, she tackles a series of complex and unusual deaths: a murder tied to illegal betting; a deadly escape game; a detox centre for recovering addicts; a forest fire that claims a fire fighter’s life; and a performance-enhancing drug overdose in a women’s rugby team.
In order to solve these cases, Marianne’s team will need her help too – with Pastor suffering through a heartbreak, and loyal clerk Yves struggling to cope with family tragedy. Marianne must also navigate the challenges of her increasingly turbulent home life, as her mother moves in to assist with nurturing a teenager, Zacharie, who is once again without a foster home.
Tensions will run high, while Marianne remains determined to uncover the truth behind the murder of Zacharie’s mother, which will require her to stand her ground against the powerful in her pursuit of justice.
