‘Sidelined 2: Intercepted', the sequel to ‘Sidelined: The QB and Me‘, is coming to Tubi on 27th November 2025.
Based on Wattpad sensation ‘The QB Bad Boy and Me' by Tay Marley, the sequel will focus on freshman star quarterback Drayton (Noah Beck) as he struggles with the weight of expectations after a devastating setback, while dancer Dallas (Siena Agudong) begins to question the future she thought she wanted. As their high school relationship begins to unravel under the pressures of distance and self-discovery, they’ll learn that the bravest versions of themselves emerge when they let life redirect them.
The sequel will also see Charlie Gillespie (‘Julie and the Phantoms'), Sage Linder (‘Descendants 3') and Roan Curtis (‘Firefly Lane') joining the cast, as well as James Van Der Beek (‘Pose') and Drew Ray Tanner (‘Riverdale') returning to their roles from the original film. Justin Wu will also direct the sequel, with Thunderbird Entertainment’s Great Pacific Media, Marshall Arts and WEBTOON Productions producing.

James Huntsman, Lisa Gutberlet, Kalani Dreimanis are executive producing for Blue Fox Entertainment, and David Way, Tony Chung and Lori Massini are executive producing for Thunderbird Entertainment’s Great Pacific Media alongside Noah Beck, Siena Agudong, Crystal Ferreiro and Justin Wu. The movie is written by Crystal Ferreiro.
