‘Wicked' fans don't have much longer to wait with ‘Wicked: For Good' arriving in cinemas in November.
The hit musical has been adapted for the big screen with Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande playing Elphaba and Glinda respectively. The first part of the film adaptation premiered in cinemas last November and it took over $756.4 million at the global box office. Expectations are very high for ‘Wicked: For Good' and we're sure it's going to be one of the films of the year.

Care Bears x ‘Wicked For Good'
Care Bears has joined forces with Universal Pictures to launch a range of limited edition ‘Wicked: For Good' inspired bears. The collection reimagines five beloved Care Bears characters as unforgettable figures from ‘Wicked: For Good': Love-A-Lot Bear as Glinda, Good Luck Bear as Elphaba, Grumpy Bear as the Wicked Tin Man, Funshine Bear as the Scarecrow, and Tenderheart Bear as the Lion. Each plush features rich design details with themed belly badges, such as the Lion’s whiskers, the Tin Man’s armour, and Glinda’s sparkling tiara, bringing this crossover to life in imaginative and collectible form.
The two-pack, featuring Love-A-Lot Bear as Glinda and Good Luck Bear as Elphaba, stands approximately 30 cm tall and will be available at a UK RRP of £34.99. In addition, individual plushes of all five characters, each around 22 cm tall, will be sold separately at a UK RRP of £14.99 each. The range is out now and available from all major and independent UK retailers, including Amazon.
We've been lucky enough to see these Care Bears in the flesh and they are fantastic. Suitable for kids and for hardcore ‘Wicked' fans, the bears put a nice spin on the loveable characters. Our favourite is Tenderheart Bear as the Lion because he's super cute, extra cuddly and absolutely adorable!
‘Wicked: For Good' the Soundtrack
If you've seen the musical then you'll know that the music from ‘Wicked' is incredible. This soundtrack captures all of the songs from the second film, led of course by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The real draw here will be original songs ‘No Place Like Home' sung by Erivo and ‘The Girl in the Bubble' sung by Grande. The soundtrack also features ‘The Wicked Witch of the East', which has previously not been included in the Broadway Cast Recordings. There are loads of different editions of the soundtrack to choose from including a special edition splatter vinyl from Amazon.
‘Wicked' the original novel
Before it was a stage show, ‘Wicked' was a hit novel written by Gregory Maguire and published in 1995. Be warned that the original story is a lot more adult than the stage show so make sure you consider that before you buy it for any children. If you've never read the book before, or you just fancy giving it a re-read, then now is the perfect time to pick up a copy. It's a riveting read and a perfect stocking filler!
